The Colts were destroyed by the Chicago Bears last weekend in the opener and everyone thought the Bears were the best team in the NFL. Green Bay proved that the Bears are a long way from that on Thursday night as they manhandled Chicago for four quarters. So what does that say about the Indianapolis Colts? For starters, I'm very concerned about the Colts' defense. The Packers have one of the worst defenses in the league and they were able to shut the Bears' offense down that torched the Colts for over 400 yards and 41 points a week ago.Dwight Freeney has been ruled out of this Sunday's game against the Vikings which means the time is now for Jerry Hughes to step up and be the first round pick that the Colts made him two years ago. The secondary has to play much better and they need to make plays when given the opportunity. Jerraud Powers dropped a sure interception in the end zone last weekend that could have stopped a Bears scoring drive. You can't let those opp...

The Indianapolis Colts (1-1) rebounded from their shaky opening-day performance to beat the Minnesota Vikings in their home opener, 23-20. It was a finish a bit too close for comfort for the Colts, who entered the 4th quarter with a 14-point lead. Conservative play calling that prevented the Colts offense from moving the ball until the last drive of the game kept a shaky, inconsistent...

What is the deal with Christian Ponder? Is he going to be a franchise quarterback?
Oof. I don't know. I'd like to think his ceiling is higher than Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson, but I have no idea. He shows flashes of quarterbacking...
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Dwight Freeney is out for Sunday's game against the visiting Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury, first-year coach Chuck Pagano announced Friday. Freeney injured the ankle against the Chicago Bears early in the season opener. "Dwight is out. It's an ankle. He's day-to-day," Pagano said, according to the team's website...

Injured Indianapolis receiver Austin Collie was unable to practice on Friday. He's doubtful for the Colts' Week 2 matchup versus the Vikings.Fantasy Spin:Collie has been dealing with concussion symptoms for about a month now. Welcome to Acting Cordial, which is the easiest article we get to produce all week on this stupid blog, because someone else does half the work for us! In reality, it's a decent way to see what's going on with this week's Vikings opponent, dig inside their diseased minds, and find out just how badly we're going to get our faces sat on. This week, we team up...
The Vikings have a lot of new parts, but they didn’t overhaul their roster nearly as much as the Indianapolis Colts, their opponent Sunday. See just how much has changed with the Colts in less than one year.

INDIANAPOLIS --?The Minnesota Vikings owned the fourth quarter, but Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri had the last word. Vinatieri kicked a 53-yard field goal with eight seconds left to give the Colts a 23-20 win over the Vikings on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. It was the first win for Colts coach Chuck Pagano and rookie quarterback Andrew Luck. The Colts'?winning...
Minnesota Vikings @ Indianapolis ColtsMinnesota: This might shape up to be one of the more exciting games fantasy-wise of the week, mostly because neither team seems to sport a defense capable of stopping anyone. The Vikings ended up in a pseudo-shootout with the Jaguars of all teams, a group that couldn’t get out of their own way offensively a year ago. Christian Ponder...
