The Indianapolis Colts have hired Tom McMahon as their new special teams coordinator. McMahon replaces Marwan Maalouf, who left after one season with what the team described Thursday as a mutual agreement. McMahon was the special teams coach in Kansas City last season. He had the same job with St. Louis from 2009-11 and was the assistant special teams coach with Atlanta in 2007 and 2008. Previously, McMahon had coached exclusively in the high school and college ranks, starting his career as the secondary coach at Carroll College in 1992. He was a graduate assistant and coached linebackers, defensive line and special teams at Utah State from 1995-2005 before spending one season as Louisville's outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator.

The 2012 season is over for the Indianapolis Colts, and now we look onto the potential 2013 Indianapolis Colts roster changes. The Colts will potentially put 21 players out to pasture in 2013. The biggest decision this off season for the Colts is whether to re-sign Robert Mathis or let him loose. Mathis has been to five straight Pro Bowl’s since 2008, but has always been seen as...

Luck, Wayne cameo on 'Parks And Rec'

In case you don’t watch the show or just missed it, two Indianapolis Colts players were on NBC’s Parks and Recreations tonight. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and wide receiver Reggie Wayne appeared on the show. Owner Jim Irsay also makes an appearance on the show. As Yahoo’s Maggie Hendricks explains, “Andy Dwyer, as played by Chris Pratt, never had a bachelor party before...

How Will Losing Bruce Arians Affect Andrew Luck & The Indianapolis Colts?

Andrew Luck and the Colts had a tremendous season. Luck taken as the number one overall pick in the 2012 draft took his Colts to the play-offs behind the expert tutoring of his offense coordinator Bruce Arians. The Colts made Arians the head coach during Pagano’s absence while he was fighting leukemia.  It seemed  like Luck and Arians were a perfect match in Lucks rookie season...

Colts owner Jim Irsay also made an appearance but, disappointingly and surprisingly, didn’t appear to be super stoned or drunk. Check out the clip above.

Colts GM ready to chase free agents who can help

Now that general manager Ryan Grigson has money to spend in free agency, he's devising a new game plan. If he can find a big-named, high-priced free agent that could get Indianapolis to the Super Bowl, he's willing to pay top dollar. If he can find a lesser-known player for a bargain, he's willing to roll the dice, too. Either way, Grigson finally has the flexibility...

According to Jim Trotter of SI.com, the Colts have hired former Stanford coach Pep Hamilton as their new offensive coordinator. The Top 10 Tight Ends in the 2013 NFL Draft

In the modern NFL offenses, the tight end position has become a valuable position on the field. Some teams have taken it as far as using two tight ends in the same formation. Last season the Indianapolis Colts were able to draft Coby Fleener out of Stanford to go along with No. 1 overall pick, Andrew Luck. Fleener was Luck's top target when they were at Stanford together.The...
