The San Diego Chargers were hoping second-year linebacker Melvin Ingram would become a major contributor for the team in 2013. Now it looks like he'll be sitting out the entire season. First reported by the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and later confirmed by the team, Ingram does indeed have an ACL tear in his left knee. We're still awaiting word on the extent of the tear, whether it's partial or complete. If complete, he'll need surgery and likely be out the entire 2013 season. No other information was released. — San Diego Chargers (@chargers) May 15, 2013 That's not good news for the Chargers, who are pretty thin at linebacker.
