The San Diego Chargers have signed draft picks Melvin Ingram, Kendall Reyes and David Molk to four-year contracts. Financial terms weren't immediately available. Ingram, an outside linebacker from South Carolina, was San Diego's first-round pick and Reyes, a defensive end from Connecticut, was taken in the second round. Both are expected to upgrade San Diego's defense, which was the worst in the NFL at stopping opponents on third down. Molk, an All-American center from Michigan, was taken in the seventh round.

San Diego Chargers UDFA RB Mike Hayes

Going into the 2012 NFL Draft, the Chargers had a handful of needs.  A few spots down the list was backup/change of pace running back.  The Chargers had the luxury of waiting until their final 7th round (250th overall) of the draft to grab a running back, Edwin Baker, out of Michigan State.  The job will not be handed to Baker though.  Curtis Brinkley is already on the roster...

Junior Seau: He loved the game to death

Honestly over the past few years we have seen far too many NFL players pass, it is time for the NFL to look further into this issue of mental health and the impact that the physical nature of the game has on the lives of these young men.  I know it has been some time since the passing of Junior Seau but here are my thoughts:   Let’s go ahead and set the record straight, Junior...

R.I.P Junior Seau

Former NFL linebacker junior Seau was a one-of-a-kind           player - and person - according to those that knew him best.I don’t know whether or not Junior Seau’s suicide has anything to do with all of the years he played football or not, but what I do know is that he will be severely missed by millions of folks across the country, including the Eye On...

LaDanian Tomlinson says he’s “95 percent” retired

Jim Trotter of SI.com recently spoke with NFL running back LaDanian Tomlinson, who told him that he’s 95% retired. He also said that it would take the right team and situation for him to play again. I don’t expect to see Tomlinson on the field again, since I don’t believe he can contribute the way team’s would need him to. He just doesn’t have what it takes to make...

What's Going On With Norv Turner?

Some questions can never be answered. Where is Jimmy Hoffa buried? How does Hugh Jackman keep getting cast in movies? Why did Arrested Development get canceled? Where these questions have underlying and, possibly, multiple answers, one question does not. That is, why does Norv Turner still have a job in San Diego? And an even better one; why was he ever hired?   After being hired...

WHAT? HUH? WHAT? I’M ART!

Plucked by a Reddit user from the festering recesses of 4chan is this mosaic of Philip Rivers that is oddly, crudely fascinating in all the ways that can be applied to Marmalard himself. That they used our favorite Rivers pose is a nice bonus. I’d like to believe that Marmalard would want this in a museum, if only those weren’t institutions that catered to godless fornicators...
