The Pittsburgh Steelers, eliminated from playoff contention last week, placed tight end Heath Miller, cornerback Ike Taylor and running back Baron Batch on injured reserve Wednesday. Miller's productive season ended with a team-high 71 receptions for 816 yards and eight touchdowns, boosting his career total to a team-record 39 TD catches for a tight end. Miller injured his right knee in last Sunday's home loss to Cincinnati. Taylor's consecutive-game streak of 135 ended after he injured his right ankle against Baltimore a month ago. Taylor, who had missed the past three games, finished the season with one interception and 35 tackles. Batch suffered a broken arm against the Bengals. Primarily a special-teams player with four tackles this season, Batch scored his first career touchdown on a 10-yard run against Tennessee earlier in the year.
