Injuries Make Redskins SS LaRon Landry's Future With Team Uncertain

Whether or not LaRon Landry gets back on the field, the Redskins have a decision to make on him after the season. Landry is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent and, though talented, is coming off his second straight injury-filled season as he’s missed the past two games because of a sore groin and has dealt with an Achilles issue since midway through last season. It cost him the final seven games of 2010 as well as all of training camp this past summer and the first two games. There’s an equal chance that Landry does not want to return. He was upset with the training staff this summer over treatment of an injured hamstring and a couple weeks ago he was irked with the coaching staff for not letting him sit out practice during the week and then playing in a game—something he said he did three times last season.
