Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey, who suffered a neck injury in last Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the New York Giants, sat out Wednesday’s practice as the team began preparing for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dolphins center Mike Pouncey sat out Wednesday's practice because of his neck injury.
Pouncey, the team’s first-round pick, has started every game for the Dolphins this season. It’s possible that streak will continue because he received a positive MRI exam on Tuesday. But it appears the winless Dolphins kept him out of practice on a precautionary basis.
Pouncey did work with the trainers on the side. Ryan Cook, who played his first game as a Dolphin last week, filled in as the starting center.
But that wasn’t the only change made to the Dolphins starting offensive line.
Starting right tackle Marc Colombo, who has been nursing a sore right knee, also sat out practice. He also sat out last Wednesday’s practice and played against the Giants. Expect the same this w...
BEST OF MAXIM
It’s been a surprisingly quiet week around the Miami Dolphins….no crazy comments from the Dolphins Owner….no Dolphins players lashing out at the fans. Is this what a normal NFL week is like? The Dolphins DID place WR Marlon Moore on injured reserve yesterday, ending his season. The Dolphins are now relatively thin at wide receiver. [...]

It was like seeing a shooting star in full daylight. Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano rarely ever criticizes players.
You can point out how a certain offensive tackle - who shall remain nameless – has been a turnstile all season. Or you could hammer him on Brandon Marshall dropping a couple critical, but tough end zone passes – and Sparano would find some way to spin it...
Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas practiced Thursday but remains a question mark for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.Thomas said he was "optimistic" about his chances of playing on the weekend after participating in practice for the second straight day. The 24-year-old is dealing with a hamstring injury and will likely be listed as questionable...
Three Dolphins Talking Points to start your Thursday morning: 1. Tony Sparano is a man searching for answers. He hasn’t had many this year, which has spiraled out of control for the Dolphins, now at 0-7. For the time being, he is resorting to changing the team’s routine on the practice field and inside the [...]
Dolphins running back Reggie Bush says that despite their 0-7 record, it’s still fun to be a Miami Dolphin. “Practice is still fun,” Bush said. “Guys are having a good time out there, still working and we’re still hacking away at it. It’s going to take one game at a time. We can’t worry.” Bush…
The Miami Dolphins needed someone to spark their offnense, and DeMarco Murray would have been that guy.
A new face stepped through the revolving door in the Miami Dolphins defense this week. NFL.com reported the team signed CB Jonathan Wade on Tuesday.
The fifth-year defensive back is the latest man the Dolphins hope can plug some of the gigantic holes in Miami's porous pass defense, which is currently ranked 27th out of 32 teams in terms of yardage allowed.
Wade was a third...

Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Chiefs Odds
Miami lost again in Week 8 to fall to 0-7 but the Dolphins played much better and are a serious threat to win here at Kansas City.
Historically, they have done well against the Chiefs, going 6-2-1 ATS in the past nine on the NFL spread vs KC, but they have been a toothless...
