Michael Vick Injured vs the Patriots
On the first play of the Eagles second offensive possession, quarter back Michael Vick went down with an apparent rib injury.
The play came on a play action pass where as he spun around to get away from blitzing defenders and was met by a punishing hit that left him grounded. Vick is currently in the locker room getting X-rays, and will most likely sit out the rest of the night...

The Associated Press reports X-rays on Vick's ribs at the stadium were negative, and an MRI and CT scan on Tuesday revealed he has no broken bones or fractured cartilage. Vick has a contusion of his ribs and of the soft tissue surrounding it, he also needed X-rays on his thumb, and those tests were also negative. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles head coach Andy Reid said that quarterback Micheal Vick suffered a rib injury during Monday night’s preseason game. He’ll undergo an MRI and CT scan on Tuesday.
