Buzz On Broad:
This Sunday, the Eagles will honor their former Safety and fan favorite, Brian Dawkins. On Sunday night, the Eagles will retire the legendary #20 prior to the start of the game. B-Dawk was remebered for his on, and off the field leadership. Brian gave absolutely everything he had, night in and night out. Besides his on field play, and his never give up attitude, Dawkins was remebered for his entrance.
Brian Dawkins would come crawling out of the tunnel, with the smoke around him. He based his entrance, off his most beloved X-Men character, Wolverine. Today, the Philadelphia Eagles have anounced that they have teamed up with Marvel for Sunday night. Marvel will design a special commerative poster including Brian Dawkins and his favorite character, Wolverine.
The poster will be revealed today at 5:00pm on Daily News Live, on Comcast Sportsnet. Both the Eagles, and Marvel are very excited about creating this epic poster. Here is what the Eagles, and Marvel had to say:
“Every week, Eagles fans witnessed Brian transform himself from a humble, mild-mannered man to the fearless competitor that he was on Sundays,” said Eagles President Don Smolenski. “He was a special player – ferocious, intense, fearless, intelligent – and on top of that, he was an incredible leader. His connection with our fans was one-of-a-kind, which is why we are excited to be working with Marvel and AAA to provide those fans with a souvenir that captures Brian in his element as ‘Weapon X.’”
"One is the ferocious leader of the legendary X-Men and world-famous star of comic books, cartoons, video games and movies...the other is a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, a six-time All-Pro and a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team...both are the best they are at what they do." said Bill Rosemann, Editor, Marvel Custom Solutions. "A peaceful family man while off the field, once he donned his #20 jersey, Brian Dawkins -- inspired by and embodying the best traits of the tenacious and unstoppable Wolverine -- was one of the most intense, hard-hitting, resilient and respected players in the history of the game. Marvel is excited and honored to partner with the Eagles and AAA in honoring one of Philly's finest."

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg was peppered with questions this week about the run-pass ratio and whether or not they should run the ball more in the first half.
After looking at his answers, and then going through the numbers myself, there is a little discrepancy there.
First, here is what he was asked, followed by his answers...

The Denver Broncos have announced three roster moves a little more than 24-hours before their game in Denver versus the Oakland Raiders.
The Denver Broncos have placed second-year safety Quinton Carter on injured reserve after he hurt his surgically repaired left knee last weekend.
The Broncos promoted rookie safety Duke Ihenacho from their practice squad to take his place, and they also promoted second-year linebacker Mike Mohamed to the active roster for Sunday's game against Oakland.

Tomorrow night will be an emotional night at Lincoln Financial Field. Brian Dawkins, one of the greatest Eagles ever to don the green, will be honored with something that is reserved for only the most special players – he will have his jersey, #20, retired forever. Dawkins symbolized everything that the city of Philadelphia stood for in his 13 years with the Eagles. He made...
Last week: 4 (+0)
The Eagles have gotten killed with turnovers in their first 3 games, with a league worst -6 turnover ratio. However, that tends to even out on a week to week basis. This is still one of the most talented teams in the league and they rank 4th in the league in yards per play differential. I expect them to eventually get their act together and finish as...
Denver coach John Fox says the NFL has denied Broncos linebacker Joe Mays' appeal and he will miss Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Mays was fined $50,000 and suspended for one game for his hit on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub last Sunday that sent Schaub's helmet flying and took off a chunk of his left ear.
The Broncos appealed the suspension but the NFL denied...
The Philadelphia Eagles have Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson and the list of offensive players goes on, but the real strength of this Eagles team is in the defense. In 2011, the Eagles defense came out to a slow start, but finished 2nd in total defense, tied for 1st in sacks and tied for 1st in interceptions. That was with a slow start where they were about to fire defensive...
Denver Broncos coach John Fox is appealing his $30,000 fine by the NFL for inappropriate behavior toward a replacement officiating crew, ESPN.com reported Friday. Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio is expected to appeal his $25,000 fine as well. Fox and Del Rio were fined for arguing with the officials during a six-minute delay in Denver's loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week...
Denver running back Willis McGahee (ribs) is listed as probable for Week 4, according to the Denver Post.Fantasy Spin:McGahee left Sunday's game against Houston with injured ribs but he's been fine in practice this week. Even if he wears protection for his ribs he should still be fine to start as a RB2 in 12-team leagues.
This week’s Sunday night football game takes us to Philadelphia with a match-up between the Giants and Eagles. All this week the trash talk between both sides have stole the headlines. It started from Eagles RB LeSean McCoy calling out DE Osi Umenyiora.
McCoy told ESPN, “Osi, to be honest, he is a good player. I think he thinks that he is better than what he really is. I think...
