As the New York Jets try to prepare for life without Darrelle Revis, the defensive coaching staff may have some scheme changes in store moving forward
On the Monday following the previous day’s overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets announced that cornerback Darrelle Revis would likely miss the entire season due to a torn right ACL injury. Revis apparently suffered the injury attempting to make a tackle on a receiver. Losing Revis certainly removes a propensity of fear towards the Jets defense, with opposing...
The loss of cornerback Darrelle Revis may weaken the New York Jets defense a bit for their game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but it also creates more headaches for 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman to try to figure out how the Jets will compensate. Rex Ryan and his Jets defensive staff are known for the variety of looks they throw at an offense, and now they...
The best player on the Jets is out for the year and the Jets are headed South in the standings. And the Patriots battle with the hot Bills.
It's not often that we comment on the defensive side of the ball but the season ending ACL injury to Darrelle Revis will have far-reaching fantasy impact especially for the passing games in the AFC East. Phillip Rivers owners should also rejoice as the Chargers face the Jets in the all important Championship week 16.
Bad news for Jets Darrelle Revis. The Cornerback was injured during the third quarter of the Jets overtime win over the Dolphins Sunday. Jets head coach Rex Ryan announced that Revis tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. On the play, Revis fell awkwardly, reaching for his leg and covering [...]

It was only a concussion that kept Darelle Revis out of action last week, but going forward for the New York Jets it’s much more serious. Revis is out for the remainder of the season.
The Jets’ fears were confirmed Monday after the team sent him for an MRI.
Revis has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that will require surgery, coach Rex Ryan announced Monday...
The New York Jets were 30,000 feet in the air, flying back home from Miami and already planning for their biggest fear.
How in the world are they going to replace Darrelle Revis?
Revis is likely gone for the season with a knee injury sustained against the Dolphins on Sunday, and Kyle Wilson has the tough and unenviable task of taking over for the All-Pro cornerback.
This is not a typo: Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush is feeling some type of anger towards the New York Jets after the team’s loss to them on Sunday in Week Three.
The Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that Reggie Bush stated that the Jets deserved the season-ending injury that occurred to All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis.
“What goes around comes around,” Bush stated...
In the days leading up to last Sunday’s tilt between the Jets and Dolphins, Rex Ryan raised a few eyebrows — even more than usual — when he stated the team needed to put some “hot sauce” on Miami running back Reggie Bush.
Nothing really was made of it, though Ryan seemingly accomplished his goal, as his defense turned up the Tabasco and knocked Bush out of action during...

A few weeks ago, it was reported that New York Jets backup running back Joe McKnight would be seeing some snaps on defense at the cornerback position for brief moments.
That never really materialized, but now with All-Star defensive back Darrelle Revis out for the season with a torn ACL, the New York Daily News is reporting that McKnight will see an increased role at cornerback...

These Q&As and more inside.
Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush suffered his own knee injury on Sunday’s game against the New York Jets but he says karma has everything to do with the injury to their CB Darrelle Revis. Bush appeared on “The Paul and Young Ron Show” in South Florida and had this to say on the injury and [...]
