During the State of the Ravens address, general manager Ozzie Newsome proclaimed pass rusher will be an area of focus this offseason. My question to that would be is pass rusher really a need?
On the surface it’s easy to say yes. However, I’m here to take a deeper look at things and give my opinion. Whether you agree with me or not, well, that’s up to you.
I don’t think Baltimore has a pressing need for a pass rusher.
Defensive Player of the Year Terrell Suggs led the Ravens with 14 sacks this season, but he was slowed at the end of the year by the absence of a pass rusher on the other side of the defense.
