Maybe you should look at the stats for the post season. Rivers has THE MOST passing yards. So please elaberate on who you think did the most part in that game? I'd like to see him shut up and let his stats talk for him. Everyone talking trash about him isn't any better though and saying he didn't have any credit towards winning that game means you didn't watch the game and havn't looked at the stats.
Phillip did a lot to not screw up the game in the first half (after which they trailed 10-7). He even had a couple decent drives in the second half. Billy Volek led them to the go-ahead score and the defense held the Colts off the rest of the way.
How much credit should he get for not throwing 5 first-half INTs?
No one has a problem with LT (#56) doing it and say it's part of the game, but when the other teams QB does it and backs it up, we get offended.
I heard it on the Radio (Rayford's Rave) America, Home of the offended. You all need to grow up.
""Thank God they didn't cover the NFL the way they do now when I played because who knows what I was saying to people," said Simms."
So just recently it's come out that Johny Unitas, Brett Favre, Dan Fouts and Ron Jaworski all "trash Talked"...Not bad company. The NFL media just covers sidelines a lto more nowadays.
