Well, ladies and gentlemen, the 2012 NFL Draft is in the books. The Philadelphia Eagles continued to make smart moves on Day 3, more heavily addressing needs on the offensive side of the ball than on days 1 and 2. Here’s look at the newest additions to the Eagles squad.
Brandon Boykin, CB, Georgia (5’9, 182) - 4th round, 123rd overall pick
A lot of excitement with this pack–great value at a position the Eagles were seeking to fill. Per Bucky Brooks of nfl.com:
Boykin is one of the best athletes in the draft with superior quickness and leaping ability to make up for his lack of diminutive stature. He has also spent some time on offense as a slot receiver and return man, which makes him an intriguing multi-dimensional weapon for the Eagles.
Dennis Kelly, OT, Purdue (6’8, 321) – 5th round, 153rd overall pick
