Found October 15, 2012 on Boston's Bettah:
There are a couple of constants in the world. The sun will rise in the eat and set in the west, we will all get older and someday die and on the week of a game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets, Jets coach Rex Ryan will run his mouth.
It’s Week 7, the Patriots and the Jets play this weekend with the winner of the game taking control of the AFC East and believe it or not, Rex Ryan is making pseudo-guranntees.
“I just think that I want them to know, and they know, that I think we’re going to beat them,” the Jets’ head coach told the media on Monday in Florham Park, N.J. “We’re not going to back down or concede anything.”
I love Rex Ryan. He might have the most dysfunctional division leader of all time and he is trying to run his mouth and put his name front and center. Let’s forget about the fact that he has a fullback as his backup quarterback and most popular player on his team, a “franchise quarterback” who has never made the pro-bowl in three seasons (or even been one of the 6th alternates that always get to go to Hawaii) and a cornerback taking snaps at wide-receiver. Let’s throw it out the window. Isn’t this just getting old?
At some point, Rex Ryan just has to shut up. Seriously. I get the fact that the Patriots are a little bit down right now and coming off an embarrassing loss to the Seattle Seahawks and might be ripe for the picking, but if I’m a Jets fan I’m fuming at Rex. Why would anyone want to give the Patriots locker room material right now? Who would want to encourage them to destroy them. At the end of the day, the Patriots are still loaded with talent, have lost three games by a combined four points, and are coming off a loss, something they usually do pretty well at.
Actually, why am I complaining? KEEP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH REX RYAN!

New York Jets Working To Change Perceptions

We are starting to see a new Jets team branding themselves out there, are we not? It’s early in the process we know. After all, Darrelle Revis and Santonio Holmes just left Gang Green for the year only weeks back. Since then however, this no name bunch of young Jets has teamed up with written off starters like Mark Sanchez and Shonn Greene to battle the then undefeated Texans,...

Bill Belichick praises Tim Tebow

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick praised Tim Tebow on Tuesday and considers the New York Jets backup quarterback to be very valuable.“Yeah, absolutely. There’s no question about it,” Belichick said via The New York Daily News. “We saw him play last year. He quarterbacked that team to the playoffs in Denver and in addition to some of the quarterbacking things, he’s...

AFTER ALL-OUT WIN AGAINST THE COLTS, THE JETS PASSED (OR RAN) WITH FLYING COLORS IN THIS WEEK'S GRADING. .One thing that can be said sure regarding the New York Jets through the first six weeks of the season: when at their best, they look damn good. On Sunday against the Colts they looked damn good in a three phases of the game.Everything that had been wrong with the Jets --...

Revis says he'll return to top form

Darrelle Revis says there's ''no question'' he will return from a torn knee ligament to be the same dominant player he has been throughout his career with the New York Jets. The star cornerback says Monday in his first public comments since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee three weeks ago that it has been hard to watch games since '...

Brady Gets An Early Night

The New England Patriots play another team in the AFC East this week. You may have heard of them. They wear green and play in New York. These games are usually pretty big and are usually important. Tom Brady agrees.Tom Brady says he missed both the debate and the Maine earthquake because he went to bed at 7:15 last night. “It’s a big week.”— Bart Hubbuch (@HubbuchNYP) October...

Stevan Ridley Has Nowhere To Run at Seattle

Stevan Ridley couldn't get anything going Sunday against the Seahawks. The New England halfback finished the day with only 34 yards on 16 carries.Fantasy Spin:Seattle's run defense is one of the strongest in the league and it didn't take long for the Patriots to figure that out. New England abandoned the run game early resulting in a season-high 58 passing attempts for...

Shonn Greene’s Sunday performance by the numbers

Up until the last game, Jets fans have been VERY DOWN on running back Shonn Greene.  With a career day this past Sunday, fans are quick to forgive or so it seems until the next time he has an average game.   RichCimini Shonn Greene and Emerson Boozer only RBs in #Jets history to rush for 150 yds, 3 TDs in game — almost 40 yrs apart. Boozer, Oct. 15, 1972. 10/14/12 10...

NY Jets Massacre New England Patriots Win Big Against The New York Jets 45-3 Score 6 Touchdowns (by DailySourceX)

While Jets' rookie receiver Stephen Hill has made a great first impression on fans, newly acquired Jason Hill (no relation) could be a secret weapon for Mark Sanchez and the passing game.

Take that Brady, Seattle corner says we’re better

There are many reasons not to like Tom Brady, so many that I don’t feel like writing the novel on it.He’s a competitive guy and that showed against the Seattle Seahawks as he was obviously frustrated at times cursing himself after he threw his two interceptions on the day.The Seahawks wanted to make sure they rubbed it in a little after the game on Sunday when cornerback Richard...

How to lose a football game in three simple steps: Brought to you by the 2012 New England Patriots

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots choked away a game in Seattle on SundayIt’s very easy to write the book on how to win football games in the NFL. By following the common rules of good football such as “manage time wisely” or “be more physical than the opposition”. It is a lot harder to write the other book. THat’s the book on how to lose football games and, of course...

Tebow Is Really Good...

On the special units squad. Mark Sanchez recently stated that "Tebow has been great on special teams and doing some of the Wildcat stuff."Oh has he Mark? That's good to hear. You'll probably be saying the same thing later this season when you've led your team down the *******, except instead of complimenting his special teams play you'll be complimenting...

Trade Deadline Possibilities

The trade deadline is quickly approaching come Week 8 of the season. Bleacher Report put out an article putting together some possible moves the Patriots could make. That got me to thinking. Now we all know Bill isn't too fond of making big midseason acquisitions, the last being trading away Randy Moss and bringing back Dion Branch. However, with some of the woes and holes in...
