It's the perception, stupid: Vick's strip club jaunt was a mistake

If real estate is all about "location, location, location", Michael Vick's comeback is going to be all about "perception, perception, perception". So far, it's not going so well for the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback. MJD is absolutely correct when he wrote earlier today that Michael Vick hitting up a strip club on his first evening of freedom doesn't mean much, other than the fact that a recently freed man wanted to see some ladies. I agree. Going to a strip joint has no bearing on Vick's remorse, his desire to change or his worthiness to rejoin the NFL. The problem is, our opinion doesn't matter. Roger Goodell's does, and it wouldn't be at all surprising if he considered Vick's choice of venue for his release celebration to be a strike against his comeback bid.Put yourself in Roger Goodell's shoes.
