Giants’ running back Brandon Jacobs, who criticized the home fans for booing the other night, appeared on the Boomer and Carton Show on WFAN this morning – not to clear the air – but rather to stand by those comments. Jacobs said booing is “what Giant fans do best.” No, Brandon, booing is what they do when their team plays below its capabilities (like it did Sunday). Boomer and Carton both gave Jacobs multiple opportunities to rescind or backtrack on his criticism of the fans, but he would not take the bait. Instead, he dug in… “It’s up to them whether or not they want to boo. And that’s what they do,” Jacobs said. “No, I don’t take anything back I said about not caring.” “They’re great when you’re up … and they kick you when you’re down,”  continued Jacobs. “Right now, I don’t think we’re down. I went them to cheer for us. I want them to be, I want our stadium to be super loud when the offense is out on the field…..and as far as me, I can’t do anything to make
