New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs apologized Wednesday for saying Gisele Bundchen should "be cute and shut up." The supermodel was extremely critical of the Patriots receivers after they dropped several passes delivered by her quarterback husband Tom Brady in their 21-17 Super Bowl XLVI loss to the Giants Sunday. "My husband cannot (expletive) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," Bundchen said as she was leaving Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, responding to taunts from Giants fans. "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times." During Tuesday's MetLife Stadium rally celebrating the Giants' Super Bowl win, Jacobs told reporters, "She just needs to continue to be cute and shut up." But speaking on ESPN's "The Doug Gottlieb Show" a day later, Jacobs said he should have been more respectful.
