Fox Sports Florida:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have been awarded seven players off waivers, a clear indication of the rebuilding team's depth.
The Jaguars picked up receiver Stephen Burton (Minnesota), defensive back Winston Guy (Seattle), tight end Clay Harbor (Philadelphia), guard Jacques McClendon (Atlanta), linebacker Chris McCoy (Philadelphia), linebacker J.T. Thomas (Chicago) and tight end D.J. Williams (Green Bay) on Sunday.
The team did not immediately announce the seven players cut -- guys who seemingly made the 53-man roster Friday.
General manager Dave Caldwell and coach Gus Bradley said repeatedly they plan to continually adjust the bottom part of the roster, hoping to find a few players who would fit Jacksonville's scheme or maybe turn things around with a change of scenery.
This is just the latest of several waves of change.

The fact the Jacksonville Jaguars are still working on defining their roster is a sign there is more work to be done. After cutting players on Friday to get the team roster down to 53 players, general manager David Caldwell and head coach Gus Bradley cut seven more players and added seven free agents to help with depth and special teams. But regardless of the comments made by Caldwell...
The guys in the two-tone helmets will be more than a two-win team this fall.
That might be damning the Jacksonville Jaguars with faint praise. After all, the arrival of coach Gus Bradley and the radically overhauled roster assembled by general manager Dave Caldwell has brought about a more positive outlook. But while optimism is up, so are the tarps which will again cover part of...
The Jaguars may be one of the smallest market teams in the league, and they may not sell as many tickets to their games as some of the bigger markets, but they've never been accused of being disengaged from the Jacksonville community. I present to you, exhibit A.

Seahawks have traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for defensive
tackle D’Anthony Smith, according to NFL.com's Dan Hanzus. Smith was a
third-round draft pick in 2010, but has mostly been a non-factor for a
struggling Jaguars franchise. After appearing in just eight games the past
three seasons, Smith departs Jacksonville with just ten tackles...
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After beating most NFL teams to the punch in trimming their active roster to 53 players, the Jacksonville Jaguars are again looking to see where they might improve heading into the regular season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were busy on Labor Day as not only was punter Zoltan Mesko signed to the roster, but free agent cornerback Antwon Blake was claimed off waivers as well. It's a new dawn around the NFL--- even for many of those players who did not survive the "Final" cut. Some will find their way back to an NFL roster spot or a PS8 squad--- somewhere.
Clay Harbor is a class act. He willingly switched positions (TE, WR, and LB) in training camp in an effort to make Chip Kelly's Eagles.
Harbor had a strong training camp...
