Earlier this week GM David Caldwell received a phone call from the Baltimore Ravens GM, Ozzie Newsome. Newsome reached out to Caldwell in hopes of acquiring Jaguars left tackle Eugene Monroe and wanted to work out a deal. Prior to the phone call, Caldwell had no intention of dealing with the left tackle who was in the last year of his contract until the end of the season.Nonetheless, the two sides hammered out a deal that sent Monroe to Baltimore, and Baltimore's 4th and 5th round draft picks in the upcoming draft to Jacksonville, a team that in dire need of draft picks to help revamp a talentless roster this offseason.
