New Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell could hire Chris Polian as his pro personnel director, according to a report from Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. Polian was previously the vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-2011 while his father, Bill Polian, was the team's president. Chris was originally hired as the team's pro personnel director after Bill became the general manager of the Colts in 1998 but both were fired following a 2-14 season in 2011. Chris spent the 2012 season with the Atlanta Falcons as a regional scout, where he presumably built a relationship with Caldwell. With Chris as an executive beneath him, Bill built a Colts team that finished with double-digit win totals in 11 of 12 seasons before a 2-14 season forced the pair out. Source: SBNation.com

Andrew Luck expects better things from the Indianapolis Colts next season. Reggie Wayne: Ray Lewis’ dance at end of game was ‘disrespectful’

Ray Lewis announced prior to the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts last weekend that he would be retiring, so most people enjoyed seeing him do his trademark dance one last time. One person who didn’t find it too amusing, though, was Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne. Wayne found it disrespectful that Lewis did his typical pregame dance, and then came...

NFL Playoffs: Colts Dream Comes to an End, Mike Shanahan Should be Fired

Colts coach Chuck Pagano was understandably disappointed in the outcome of Sunday’s playoff game against the Ravens, but he said after the game that he was not disappointed in his team. Quite the contrary. Pagano’s story is well known. He was diagnosed with leukemia just weeks into his first head coaching job and had to turn the team over to assistant coach Bruce Arians for most...

It’s Only January and Skip Bayless has Already Written the Dumbest Sports “Article” of the Year

In an industry that seemingly devolves day after day, finding the most inept, inane sportswriter can sometimes prove more difficult than expected. Last year, the title was pretty much up for grabs until the fall, whereupon Mitch Albom blew away the “competition” with a steaming pile of word turds related to the AL MVP race. This year, however, I think we can give the damn thing...

Colts' Wayne irked by Lewis' dance

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne calls Ray Lewis' second dance after Sunday's Baltimore Ravens playoff victory disrespectful.

How Can You Make Ray Lewis’ Dance More Annoying? Do It Underwater!

After the absurd amount of Ray Lewis dancing that viewers and Reggie Wayne had to put up with during Ray’s farewell performance at M&T Bank Stadium, it seems almost cruel to subject readers to more of the trademark Ray-Ray spastic dance. But when the folks at the National Aquarium (also known as the only nice thing in Baltimore) have divers jump in a tank wearing Ray Lewis...

Colts WR Reggie Wayne Calls Ray Lewis' End-Of-Game Dance 'Disrespectful'

Not everybody appreciated the three-hour-long Ray Lewis tribute during Sunday's wild-card game between the Colts and Ravens. Lewis, who came into the league in 1996 and has been the face of the Ravens ever since, announced last week that he would retire at the end of the season.
