Jaguars' Doug Pederson Provides Injury Updates on Devin Lloyd, Anton Harrison
USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars came out of Sunday's 37-17 loss to the Houston Texans with a host of bumps and bruises, including injuries to two important starters.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson updated the local media on Monday about each of the injures.

On Anton Harrison: "Anton got rolled up on, ankle. He’ll be fine, day-to-day right now. X-rays were negative, so he should be good to go."

Harrison left the game in the second half and was replaced by offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen for the final 22 snaps of the game.

On Devin Lloyd: "The other one, probably a little bit more significant, Devin Lloyd with his hand, I think it’s his right hand. He’s still undergoing further testing, but we will have to see where his thumb is. He injured that during the game. As far as practice on Wednesday, he will probably miss Wednesday. We will see later today where he’s at on that.”

While Lloyd returned and played at times on Sunday, second-year linebacker Chad Muma did step into his role on defense and play a season-high 19 snaps, account for 34% of the Jaguars' defensive snaps.

On Zay Jones: “Zay is still going to be day-to-day, if we had to practice today, he would be out. We’ll see again on Wednesday where he is.”

On Travis Etienne: “Yeah, he was cramps.”

On Calvin Ridley: "He was fine, he just got hit right on the kneecap. It was just a good, hard, low tackle. He got hit low, but he’s fine.”
