The Jaguars signed long snapper Jeremy Cain to a contract, the club announced. Cain was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent following his second season with the Jaguars and fifth in the NFL. Length and terms of the contract are undisclosed.
Cain has played in 49 games since entering the league as a rookie free agent with Chicago in 2004. He played in all 32 games with the Jaguars the last two seasons after being claimed off waivers from Washington on June 12, 2009.
