Veteran free-agent quarterbacks Kyle Orton and Jake Delhomme could be considered for the open backup job with the Jacksonville Jaguars.The Florida Times-Union is reporting that the Jaguars are currently scouting possible second-string passers to backup Blaine Gabbert, who is coming off his first NFL season.Orton played for the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs this season. Delhomme was a backup for the Houston Texans following their multiple QB injuries. Jacksonville had planned on playing Gabbert behind David Garrard heading into the season. However, the Jaguars cut Garrard one week before the season started, leaving Gabbert as the team’s No. 1.He passed for 2,214 yards, 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Gabbert finished with a 65.4 QB rating.
