Jaguars Rookie Review: Updates on Each 2023 Draft Pick After Week 17 Win vs. Panthers
USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars got back on track in Week 17, dominating the Carolina Panthers in a 26-0 win that was fueled by veterans and rookies alike.

Just how did the Jaguars rookies perform in the Week 17 win? We break it down below.

1st, No. 27: OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

It was another terrific outing by Anton Harrison, who allowed zero pressures on 29 pass-blocking snaps. That marks two games in a row with zero pressures allowed from Harrison, who has allowed just three pressures over the last three weeks. He has allowed the fewest pressures of any first-round offensive tackle in 2023.

2nd, No. 61: TE Brenton Strange, Penn State

Brenton Strange was essentially an extra lineman on Sunday, blocking on 26 of his 30 snaps. Most of these came as a run blocker as the Jaguars attempted to get back to the running game to support C.J. Beathard. He only ran four routes, but he did see two targets go his way, ultimately finishing with one catch for one yard.

3rd, No. 88: RB Tank Bigsby, Auburn

Tank Bigsby set a career-high in touches and snaps in Week 17, playing his most snaps since Week 6 vs. the Indianapolis Colts. He turned his 10 carries into 32 yards, but several poorly blocked running plays impacted his production more than anything else. He did record the longest run of his career, though, with a 12-yard run in the second-half.

4th, No. 121: LB Ventrell Miller, Florida

Ventrell Miller is on injured reserve.

4th, No. 130: DL Tyler Lacy, Oklahoma State

It was a quiet day for Tyler Lacy since he played just 12 snaps, though he did record one run stop in three run defense snaps. He did not record a pressure in his nine pass-rush snaps, however.

5th, No. 136: EDGE/LB Yasir Abdullah, Louisville

Yasir Abdullah was a healthy scratch in Week 17.

5th, No. 160: DB Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

Antonio Johnson continues to be a rookie playmaker for the Jaguars. He recorded two tackles, including a run stop, while missing zero tackles. He was only targeted once in coverage, too, allowing a catch for nine yards. He then capped the day off with his second interception of his rookie season and third takeaway of the season.

6th, No. 185: WR Parker Washington, Penn State

It was a quiet game for Parker Washington. On 16 routes, Washington was targeted just once for two yards. He did return two punts after Jamal Agnew's leg injury, taking one return for 15 yards in the process.

6th, No. 202: CB Christian Braswell, Rutgers

Christian Braswell is on injured reserve.

6th, No. 208: S Erick Hallett II, Pittsburgh

Erick Hallett is on the practice squad.

7th, No. 226: OL Cooper Hodges, App. State

Cooper Hodges is on injured reserve.

7th, No. 227: DL Raymond Vohasek, UNC

Raymond Vohasek is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

7th, No. 240: FB Derek Parish, Houston

Derek Parish is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

UDFA: WR Elijah Cooks

A week after Elijah Cooks had a big game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the rookie wide receiver rank only eight routes vs. the Panthers and wasn't targeted a single time. He played 25 snaps, but 17 of those were running plays.
