“Jaguars source says, ‘third round draft pick, has around a 5 second hang time”
The Jacksonville Jaguars made an interesting pick in the 2012 NFL Draft; at third round they picked a punter, some believe would have been available in later rounds (was the number one punter in the draft keep in mind).
They made 17 free-agent moves from unsigned players from the draft, after the draft was over; ‘according to a, ‘Jaguars News source’ (Jaguars.com).
Had drafted a punter in the third round, who has a hang-time of almost 5 seconds, an anonymous source told me today (which would be in conflict if I disclosed who it is/was) - (Thursday Jun 28, 2012), would be giving his newly formed Jaguar Team, an advantage, to help keep the offense off the field more. Says one Jaguars affiliate who (I am not mentioning at all) noticed this at practice, "says that is why they drafted him where they did.
The balance of Offense & Defense was always my main focus: the Special Teams is critical (I always knew better then to forget about them)… this has me excited that they didn’t pass him up now. Critics; say what you will, but the believers like me, will come out the woodwork.
I really do believe it will turn out to be a good decision by Mularkey & staff. Giving special teams: line, & out players, & backs that much time to react... they will only be better & better every other game, & practices, I truly believe will show improvement.
& the word is, ‘is that he’s showing skills reaching around the 2, & also showing skill keeping it close to the sidelines.
So we know fundamentals, but let this one sink in. the Jags have really put it together, & are poised to make a statement. On all sides of the ball, I think we just about covered it. Oh, I would for whatever reason would naturally think that any player on this team here will be a whole lot better… (Maybe mainly because of Blackmon) who knows exactly, but fresh teams, with awesome players only help that much more.
We all do know that a game with Detroit is opportunity to see Mathew Stafford, & Megatron play. Spread Offense; we already made a statement, as bold as can be, trading up, & giving up the 4th round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. The Jags might not even of had another chance to nab the Phenom-Punter here, since 4th was gone.
With guys that will be, “Moving ‘Them Chains”, now anyway. Making headway on all fronts: like the General would, or might say; taken care of business aspects. Deemed the Gabbert-Blackmon-Connection!
I don’t know about any of you, but it sounds dangerous for other team’s defenses, already to me.
Can you think of anything better than to be covered on all sides; & we mean every aspect? Well something really cool though, a Punter with over four & half seconds lof, sounds pretty awesome. So don't forget, it's, 'Jaguars new punter, 'Bryan Anger!'
