The Jaguars waived place-kicker Brandon Coutu on Tuesday, one day after signing kicker Josh Scobee to a long-term deal. Coutu played in the final regular-season game for the Buffalo Bills last season. He missed his only field-goal attempt. The Jaguars signed Coutu in May, making him the team's kicker while they negotiated with Scobee. The Jags signed Scobee to a four-year, $14 million deal Monday.

There will be plenty of storylines to follow this summer, and Jaguars 101 will have it covered.

The Jaguars clearly want to make sure they protect themselves in case Blackmon makes another bone-headed decision off the field, like Marshawn Lynch of the Seahawks.
