ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Lions injured RB Jahvid Best will undergo a battery of tests this week to determine whether or not he can come off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. “He will go through those tests this week,” Schefter said. “The Lions still are unsure whether doctors will clear him. There must be a consensus from the multiple doctors that he’s been visiting before they’ll activate him off PUP, but they’re hopeful to have him back for the Monday night game against the Chicago Bears in Week 7.” Best has been sidelined since week six of last season where he suffered a concussion against the San Francisco 49ers. Obviously his short-term outlook is in the hands of the medical personnel for the Lions, but that really doesn’t seem to be the issue. It’s the long term outlook for Best that’s concerning for the Lions considering they used a first round pick on him and his next concussion could very well mean the end of his playing career all togeth...
