Titans QB Jake Locker took a “slight majority” of the team’s snaps on Friday, but HC Mike Munchak wouldn’t say what his chances are of playing this weekend. “We haven’t decided yet. We’re not really leaning any way,” Munchak said, via Terry McCormick. “Jake is doing well. He did everything today we wanted him to do. Now, we’ll spend some time with him and talk as an offense and decide what is the best thing to do for Sunday.” Locker has missed the Titans past two games after he suffered what appeared to be a serious hip injury. It’s actually surprising that he’s doing as well as he is in terms of his recovery given that the initial timetable for his injury was 4-8 weeks. Munchak added that they will decide his status over the weekend. “He’ll have a big say. We really want to get a feel for what he feels he can do well and what his limitations may or may not be. I thought on the field he handled himself really well. He got a little more confidence every day, and I think both of them have gotten enough reps where either one of them could play and be ready to play on Sunday. We just need to finish up some talks today and make a decision.” Ryan Fitzpatrick would of course start Sunday’s game against the 49ers if Locker is unable to go. In two games as Tennessee’s starter, Fitzpatrick is 38-70 (.542) for 418 yards passing, one touchdown and four interceptions. We’ll have more regarding Locker’s status leading up to kickoff on Sunday. The post Jake Locker Takes The Majority Of Snaps On Friday appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
