According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miami Dolphins left tackle Jake Long suffered a sprained MCL during today’s practice.

Dolphins believe OT Jake Long sprained his medial collateral ligament during Monday practice. He’s getting an MRI to determine exact damage.

The good news is that it’s only a sprain and it’s his MCL. At this point, I would think Long will miss the first few weeks of the regular season.
