Green Bay receiver James Jones has been in Greg Jennings shadow for a while now, but not anymore. Jones quietly put together a great 2012 season, all he did was catch 14 touchdowns, which led the NFL for receivers. So when he says that the Packers receiving corps will survive without Jennings, he’s not blowing smoke. Along with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, Jones feels they have the nucleus to have three 1,000 yard receivers. Furthermore, he thinks Jennings departure will give them more opportunities to shine, and step out of Jennings shadow. The Green Bay Packers have re-signed linebacker Robert Francois, the team announced on Saturday.
The free agent appeared in all 16 games for the Packers last season and had 13 tackles, all on special teams.
