Jammer To Play With Cast On -

San Diego Chargers CB Quentin Jammer will play with a cast on his broken hand in Sunday’s game vs. the Tennessee Titans. He should be fine in coverage, but how he performs in close contact will be a big test as the cast could affect his play on press coverage and on tackle attempts. Jammer broke his hand in the Chargers 22-14 win over the Oakland Raiders on Monday night, and had surgery on Tuesday. The 11-year vet has only missed four games since coming into the league in 2002.

Notebook: Looking to Open in Rare Form

The Chargers aim to do something they have never done in the Norv Turner era: start a season 2-0. The challenge seems doable -- all it entails is a home win over a mediocre Tennessee Titans squad -- but San Diego must overcome some injuries and rediscover its offensive rhythm to make it happen.
