Janzen Jackson is not the brightest kid in football, but when it comes to talent he has a tons of it. Many might remember Jackson from his years at Tennessee in one of the best defensive backfields in college football, before leaving for McNeese State.  When he transferred to McNeese State, many believed he would be the ultimate starter, but he never really could unseat Malcolm Bronson as the starter at McNeese.

Today the NFL suspended the free agent Jackson who was on the Giants roster earlier this season. The undrafted rookie out of McNeese State was abruptly cut by the Giants early on in camp. Jackson was on a zero tolerance policy after getting booted off the Tennessee football team in August of 2011. It can’t get much better for the ex-Tennessee standout.

Cruz returns to Philly, where the salsa started

New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz is returning to where his on-field salsa dancing began - Philadelphia. Believe it or not, it was roughly a year ago that Cruz started his rise to national prominence by catching two touchdown passes in the City of Brotherly Love in helping the Giants post a 29-16 win over the Eagles. Until that game, Cruz was known mostly for catching three...

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has told the media that Ahmad Bradshaw will start at RB on Sunday night over Andre Brown. Rested Giants prepared for anything against Eagles

If there is a common thread in recent games between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, it's wild endings. ''It's one of those games you go in knowing you have to play your best game to win, and I think they are saying the same about us,'' Tuck said Monday...

LeSean McCoy: I really don’t like Osi Umenyiora, he’s a ‘ballerina’

LeSean McCoy and Osi Umenyiora have hurled so much trash talk back and forth over the past two seasons that it’s gotten to the point where people wonder if they are joking. Are these two actually best friends who are just toying with all of us and laughing every time we write something about their feud? If that’s the case, they are doing a terrific job of acting. In an E:60 special...

Eagles have had Giants' number lately

In their last five quarters, the Giants have scored 61 points, rushed for 143 yards, and passed for 531 yards -- numbers that head coach Tom Coughlin attributed to improved focus on assignments and techniques. This week, the Giants will face the Philadelphia Eagles, a 2-1 team that, over the same five quarters, has scored just 13 points, rushed for 145 yards, and passed for 269...
