Not only is Georgia’s Jarvis Jones the best linebacker in the nation, but he is arguably the best defensive player in the NCAA.  The junior linebacker is an All-American candidate and a finalist for the Bednarik, Lombardi, Nagurski, and Butkus award.  At 6’3, 241 lbs., Jones is a premier game-changer who causes havoc in the backfield.  He leads the nation in forced fumbles (6) and is second in the nation in tackles for loss (19.5). Despite being sidelined for two games battling a hamstring and neck injury (injured neck while playing for the Trojans in 2009), Jones has disrupted opposing team’s offenses all season long amassing 44 solo tackles, 71 total tackles, and forcing 17 QB hurries in only 10 games.  Jones has an SEC best 10.5 sacks this season and is only 3.5 sacks away from tying David Pollack’s 2002 single season sack record.  Jones couples his strength and agility with great speed clocking a 4.74, 40.  Not bad for a player who was diagnosed with a spinal stenosis in 2009 an...
