That was fast, but not what I expected. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that recently-released Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro defensive end Jason Babin has been claimed off of waivers, but just not by a playoff-contender. According to Schefter, it’s the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not sure if the claim says more about contending team’s salary-restraints, or how they feel about Babin as a player.
