It’s a conversation we’ve been having for weeks in regards to what were the other changes Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had in mind when he said he would shake things up. Jones has already replaced Rob Ryan and his 3-4 defense for Monte Kiffin and the 4-3. Jones hired Rod Marinelli to coach and toughen up the defensive line.
Now, according to ESPN Dallas, Bill Callahan will take over the playcalling duties from head coach Jason Garrett, and has now become the team’s offensive coordinator.
It’s safe to say Garrett has reached “lame duck status” as the Cowboys head coach, and with candidates like John Gruden and Lovie Smith sitting in the wings, Garrett has one year to get it right.
