The Giants' most feared defensive player is finally ready to be feared again. On Wednesday afternoon, after a practice session that he called his “best” of the season, Jason Pierre-Paul wanted everyone to know that. So before anyone could even ask about it, he proclaimed that he felt “great” and “awesome.” And then he served up a warning to this Sunday’s opponent, the Oakland Raiders. “For the past three years, I’ve been rushing the passer, you just see fear in the quarterback’s eyes,” JPP said. “You see fear in the tackle’s eyes. They respect me. They know when they hit the field, they have a problem. “And this week, they’re gonna have a problem.” A confident (but not “cocky,” he said) JPP wasn’t done. “Come this Sunday,” he said, “I’m rushing the passer, stopping the run.
