We reported earlier that Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is a ways away from getting back on the field.
According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin stated that Pierre-Paul had an outstanding day of running the other day.

As I was flipping through channels, I came across this debate on how good LeBron James could’ve been if he decided to go for pro football instead of pro basketball.
It was too good to pass up, so I decide to have some fun and compare James to the wide receivers of my team, the New York Giants.

The story’s all too familiar at this point—Tom Coughlin’s on the chopping block, Eli Manning’s about to get run out of town, then BANG! The strictest coach in sports and Peyton’s aw-shucks little brother one-up the team of the decade on the game’s biggest stage. The second-year first-rounder out of Virginia Tech caught fire at the end of 2012, posting 273 all-purpose yards and 4 all-purpose touchdowns in the last four games of the season.
However, the presence of backup running back...

Nicks was held out of last week’s game against the Steelers because of a strained groin.
Cornerback Terrell Thomas will not play this. He recently came off the PUP list.

The New York Giants are still unsure whether or not they will use cornerback Terrell Thomas in their second preseason game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium.
Thomas has been on the recovery trail over the last two years as he is attempting to be only the second player in NFL history to successfully play after three ACL surgeries; two of which were in back...
New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas has been waiting for almost two years to get back on the field and play in an NFL game, any type of game.
It just won't be Sunday night when the Giants (1-0) take on Indianapolis in a preseason game at Metlife Stadium, a contest in which the Colts have been challenged by their owner to show something after a dismal performance last weekend...
New York Giants players are dropping like flies. Some of their veteran leaders are slowly getting back in to game form just in time for week one.

The New York Giants have had more than their fair share of injuries during training camp this year. They finally got some good news Friday when head coach Tom Coughlin announced that wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and defensive end Justin Tuck will both play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.

Analyzing stats from preseason games is a ludicrous thing to do, but being as I specialize in the ludicrous, below is a look at the personnel groupings the Pittsburgh Steelers starting offense used in their preseason opener against the New York Giants. Of the 18 non penalty plays that offense ran Saturday night, eight of [...]
