Jeff Fisher came to the St. Louis Rams with quite a job in front of him.
There literally were only four "franchise" type players in the locker room when Fisher signed on to be the head coach of the Rams, Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson on offense and Chris Long and James Laurinaitis on defense.
“I think that was one of the weirdest moments, when I stood up in front of the team and only recognized two players.”
Fisher and new general manager Les Snead ran their first draft and brought in some free agents, but the team still looks to be a few years away. Fisher knows that the city of St. Louis can not wait a few years and told dnj.com he is hoping to get things turned around very soon.
