NFL Draft Zone:
Coach Jeff Fisher will look for ways to get the ball in Isaiah Pead’s hands after the rookie flashed playmaking ability in three garbage-time carries versus the Patriots. “We drafted Isaiah because of those run skills and he’s got them,” Fisher said. “But again, it’s hard to get everybody the carries, but we’ll try to keep him involved.” Pead finally showed confidence and decisiveness after running with hesitation and uncertainty in preseason action.
Isaiah has been outperformed by seventh round pick Daryl Richardson who came from the little school of Abilene Christian. Richardson is a good change of pace back for Steven Jackson and with the Rams not trading him, expect this to get interesting in St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS - The man with an unknown future carried on without a care in the world.
A huddle broke to close the St. Louis Rams' practice Wednesday, and Steven Jackson walked toward the locker room with a helmet in his left hand. Little about the moment was a surprise: There was the same grin from the ninth-year veteran as he chatted with defensive end William Hayes; there was...

In addition to reminding the world just how poorly his team played in London, St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher also used his Tuesday press conference to put down a few rumors. He squelched the Steven Jackson trade talk, and he also nipped in the bud chatter about the Rams moving left tackle Rodger Saffold inside, from tackle to guard.
"No, I don't," Fisher said...
Last week: 21 (-1)
I have a lot to write about the Patriots in their section, so I’m going to use this section to talk about the NFL in London. I just don’t think it’s a very good idea. It’s fine having one or two games per year there, but every time we have one, there’s talk about moving a team there and it would make no sense geographically. It’s just too...
Its sounding more and more likely that Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola will make his return to field following the teams bye week.
Yeah, absolutely, Amendola said, via the Associated Press. Im ready to come back and Im ready to do what I can.
Amendola has been sidelined for the last three weeks with a collarbone injury. He was one of the leagues leading receivers...

Rams coach Jeff Fisher was grasping for answers after the Patriots torched his Rams 45-7 at Wembley Stadium in London last Sunday.
One area he gave some attention to was what he said were illegal hits on his quarterback, Sam Bradford.
But the league has ruled that those hits were not out of line, and the Patriots will not be fined, Mike Florio of profootballtalk...
Hot News for C Jeff Fisher
Rams running back Steven Jackson has been rumored to be out on the trading block, but coach Jeff Fisher claimed that Jackson "is not going anywhere."Fantasy Spin:Jackson is averaging just 3.7 ypc, the lowest of his career and with youngster Daryl Richardson averaging 5.4 ypc there was a lot of talk. It appears the Rams will continue with their shared situation at running back.
There was once a time when the only time you heard the Miami Dolphins mentioned by the National Media was when they were being ridiculed or mocked. Well that time was not that long ago, in fact the Dolphins were hardly given any respect even this past offseason.
Missing out on Jeff Fisher, and Peyton Manning many media members around the league laughed saying...
