Coach Jeff Fisher will look for ways to get the ball in Isaiah Pead’s hands after the rookie flashed playmaking ability in three garbage-time carries versus the Patriots. “We drafted Isaiah because of those run skills and he’s got them,” Fisher said. “But again, it’s hard to get everybody the carries, but we’ll try to keep him involved.” Pead finally showed confidence and decisiveness after running with hesitation and uncertainty in preseason action.
Isaiah has been outperformed by seventh round pick Daryl Richardson who came from the little school of Abilene Christian. Richardson is a good change of pace back for Steven Jackson and with the Rams not trading him, expect this to get interesting in St. Louis.

St. Louis Rams: Week 9 NFL Power Rankings (#21)
Last week: 21 (-1)
Record: 3-5
I have a lot to write about the Patriots in their section, so I’m going to use this section to talk about the NFL in London. I just don’t think it’s a very good idea. It’s fine having one or two games per year there, but every time we have one, there’s talk about moving a team there and it would make no sense geographically. It’s just too...
