Fox Sports Wisconsin:
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Greg Jennings could be preparing to play his final few games with the Green Bay Packers, and the two-time Pro Bowl, soon-to-be-free-agent wide receiver knows it.
"Sometimes you look on the wall and you see a lot of writing," Jennings said Wednesday in the locker room. "And it's hard to ignore that writing as a player. Because you never want to get caught off guard. I wouldn't be doing my job as a father, as a husband, if I'm nave and not communicating these things with my family and preparing them for what potentially could be.
"The writing is on the wall. I'm not going to walk by it and act as if it's not there."
Jennings was referring to the way that the Packers organization has not been retaining many of its veteran players in recent years. General manager Ted Thompson allowed 31-year-old center Scott Wells -- who was Green Bay's best offensive lineman in 2011 -- to leave in free agency last offseason, and let...
BEST OF MAXIM
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings is scheduled to become a free agent after this season and would love to remain in Green Bay for a long time.
Jennings has made it clear that he doesn’t want the Packers to place the franchise tag on him.
“Will I be here? That’s totally up to the Packers,” Jennings said per NFL.com. “I know one way I don’t want to be here is...
Earlier today we mentioned that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings isn’t interested in playing under the franchise tag next season.
Jennings was on with Steve Wyche and Mark Kriegel on NFLAM’s Double Coverage podcast and he was asked if he had an educated guess if he would be back with the Packers next season.
“I’m gonna lean to the no side of it,” replied Jennings...
ON THE WAY OUT
The Green Bay Packers have several receiving options, so Greg Jennings thinks he may be done with the team after the season.
While children across the world are telling Santa Claus what they want for Christmas, Greg Jennings wants to make one thing perfectly clear. He may not know what he wants for Christmas next week, but he does know that he does not want the Green Bay Packers to slap him with the franchise tag after this season.
Jennings is expected to hit the free agent market following the 2012 NFL...

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings entered the
season as arguably quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ top target. After a season full
of injuries and other players stepping up to fill in, the free agent-to-be has
said that he doesn’t expect to return to the Packers next year, reports Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.
"An educated guess? ... I'm gonna lean to the 'no...
Greg Jennings says that “the writing is on the wall” that this will be his final season with the Green Bay Packers. He has already stated that he does not want to play for Green Bay in 2013 under the franchise tag designation, and the Packers have so many other options at wide receiver that they may feel they can survive on offense without Jennings going forward.
After all, they...
Greg Jennings is not naive and he's not ignoring reality, either.
The veteran wide receiver is in the final year of his contract, and has yet to hear from the Green Bay Packers about an extension. Common sense - and Green Bay history - would suggest that means he'll be playing somewhere else next season, a notion Jennings doesn't dispute. But even with the Packers playing...
Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings continued to discuss his future with the team. Jennings was asked whether or not he plans on being back with the team next season.
“Will I be here? That’s totally up to the Packers,” responded Jennings, via NFL.com. “I know one way I don’t want to be here is under a franchise tag.”
Jennings, 29, is set to become an unrestricted free...
With Greg Jennings' contract expiring, Sunday's game might be his last regular-season appearance in a Packers uniform at Lambeau Field.
Greg Jennings has been Aaron Rodgers‘ favorite receiver for going on six years now. But the times may be a changing in Green Bay.
Jennings has been the Packers’ most productive receiver and biggest red zone threat over the past five years, averaging about 70 catches, 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns over that span. But a lingering groin injury this season severely limited his...
Adrian Peterson is in the middle of a historic season. His pursuit of the NFL’s single-season rushing record has been so captivating, in fact, that even some of his fiercest rivals are rooting for him.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings, during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday, talked a little bit about Peterson’s quest to break Eric Dickerson‘s 28...
