NFL Trade Rumors:
Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin is hoping to remain in Philadelphia beyond the 2013 season.
“This is the team and organization that drafted me. I don’t want to leave,” Maclin said, via Philly Mag. “All I can do is go out there and play ball, and I’m going to play to the best of my ability.”
Maclin, 25, is entering the final year of his rookie contract and with a new offensive system being installed, there’s at least some question as to whether or not he’ll be brought back next season.
“The initial talks are always whatever, but I think that I can only get better,” Maclin said. “So I think it’ll be good for me to go out there and just play ball and let everything else take care of itself.”
Maclin has flashed some great ability during his first four years in the league, but the Eagles were obviously expecting him to take the next step in his overall development. Last year, Maclin tallied 69 receptions for 857 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns.

Hakeem Nicks is not getting a new deal just yet, but when he does, Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin will have a much easier time gauging his own price. The New York Giants’ receiver is set to become a free agent at season’s end, as is Maclin himself. Having entered the league at the same time — as first-round picks in the 2009 NFL draft — both players will draw...
Matt Barkley competed for — and won— starting quarterback jobs as a freshman at both Mater Dei High School and Southern Cal. The only difference with the Eagles is that there’s less attention on him this time. The fourth-round slider said he’s been pleasantly surprised how low-key things have been, at least in comparison to his previous gigs. “I think right now is the least...

The Philadelphia Eagles have a quarterback controversy, and star running back LeSean McCoy wants no part of being involved.
McCoy spoke from his annual charity softball game, and told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he doesn’t care who the Eagles quarterback is.
“That’s why they pay Chip Kelly the big bucks, to pick the quarterback,” McCoy said. “Whoever he picks, I’m...
With the volatile QB situation in Philadelphia, itis interesting that two of the players most affected have such different opinions about it (Credit: AP Photo).
There are two prevailing opinions going around the Philadelphia camp regarding the quarterback situation: Chip Kelly needs to pick starting QB in the near future or a “worry about myself” attitude. Michael Vick has made...
Even thought Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is being sued by his former agent Drew Rosenhaus for owing him money, he decided to show off his custom made Bentley to DUB magazine.
Jackson can do whatever he wants with his money, but I have a feeling he’ll be broke once his career is over.
