Four years ago, Jeremy Shockey made sure that the New York Giants knew how much he didn’t care for the staff. This wasn’t too surprising, as he was often critical of the coaches during his 6 year tenure with the franchise. But after being away for a little while, he wants back in. Of course, not having a job will do that. The world champion Giants lost two of their tight ends to ACL injuries during the actual Super Bowl, which meant the team was in the market for at least one FA, as both Travis Beckum and Jake Ballard will begin the season on the PUP list if the team holds onto them. The Giants signed former Cowboy Martellus Bennett to a 1-year deal, yesterday. However, even if the Giants had mot signed the former Cowboy, Shockey had no shot of returning.   Nobody in the organization will admit to it, but sources have told me that there was and always will be zero interest in having the often brash TE return to the meadowlands. For all of Shockey’s talent, he was constantly a loc...
