Packers TE Jermichael Finley is already saying that he plans to play again. This is just two weeks after a devastating injury that left him with a bruised spinal cord and caused a stay in the ICU:
Of course I plan to play football again. This is what I love to do. I love the game. I love Sundays. Based on the feedback I’ve received from doctors at this point, the question is not if I’ll play again, but when. There is no better feeling in the world than making the “Lambeau Leap” into the stands, and I fully intend on having that surreal feeling again soon. I will do everything in my power to rehab and get back to the player I have been, and improve into the player I know I can be.
This is America and he can decide to play again if he wants to. I understand that he will want to keep playing the sport he loves, I just hope he also understands why I assume many people around him will advise him not to come back.

Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley gave a first-person account for Sports Illustrated’s The MMQB of what he’s been through since he was taken off Lambeau Field Oct. 20 on a stretcher. “On the field, the doctors were going through regular procedures, testing me on sense and touch, and asking me a multitude of questions,” Finley wrote. “But because I was a little...
All true fans have their superstitions. Some need to sit in the same spot every game... eat the same meal... maybe wear the same socks. But David Piehl, a 6th grader in Wisconsin, puts all of us to shame. He has been wearing his beloved Aaron Rogers jersey for an unreal 1034 consecutive days - nearly 3-years! Check this video from WKBT in Wisconsin. It's...

The Green Bay Packers are heavily depleted due to many injuries to key players. But, these undermanned Packers have rattled off four straight wins and have made it to the top of the NFC North. With Jermichael Finley likely done for the season and Randall Cobb likely out until at least week 15, Packers general manager Ted Thompson...
If the NFL season was to end right now, this is what we would be looking at for the playoffs. There are not many surprises here, and I actually would love to see some of these teams make the playoffs. Out of all these teams, which one surprises you the most? I have two, the […]
Aaron Rodgers is playing at an MVP level, even without his top three targets, but Eddie Lacy has provided a pounding running game that can grind out yards. Toss in the return of running back James Starks and the Packers have a very nice mixture of ground and pound. The running game allows the Packers to control the ball and dictate the pace of the game. […]

It is no secret that the Green Bay Packers have not had a solid run game in the past few years. Production has been at an all-time low the past two seasons for the Packers. During this past off-season, something incredible happened…The Packers found their run game!

These type of things are always opinion based, but I will say Aaron Rodgers probably does have the best full package of skills at the quarterback position. In terms of his supreme accuracy and still having the ability to make things happen with his legs. Aaron Rodgers still the best QB in the league — […]
Mike McCarthy has known for a while the Green Bay Packers' running game would be in good shape.
''We'll be better, I promise you that,'' the Packers eighth-year head coach said in June after one offseason practice. ''You can write that down. In big letters.''
Seven games into the season, McCarthy's team is delivering on his promise.
Years from now, the NFL might eliminate the kickoff entirely. Seven games into the 2013 season, the Green Bay Packers are apparently off to a head start.
The Packers rank dead last league wide at only 15.3 yards per kick return. So this week, expect the Packers to make a change. After seeing cornerback Micah Hyde combust for a 93-yard punt return, the Packers gave him a shot in...
The timing of this statement is funny because Peyton Manning shredded Durant’s Redskins into pieces.
Aaron Rodgers still the best QB in the league

I’m sure Durant was hearing all this noise about Manning, so he decided to take this route.
Greg Jennings brought superstar Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in close for a post-game talk and hug that he looks like he wants nothing to do with.
On March 14, Steven Jackson signed with Atlanta rather than Green Bay. On March 15, Greg Jennings left the Packers to sign with the rival Vikings. As it turns out, those perhaps were the best days of the offseason for the Packers, other than landing Eddie Lacy in the second round.
