If you’re going to put someone on blast via Twitter, man up and accept the consequences. Jermichael Finley, this is your life, and you’re the one who put yourself there.
Finley and his agent Blake Baratz criticized Rodger’s leadership skills, and thus feel Rodger’s isn’t targeting him much anymore. That Finley simply can’t play doesn’t really matter.
He’s not very smart either, as Rodger’s has been portrayed as being overly sensitive, he would have good cause to not trust his tight end. Finley suggested that he and Rodger’s should “go get a drink.” Maybe he should have thought about that before going public, who wants to drink with a guy who just trashed you.
Finley says that his targets have dropped since he went the Twitter route, not the actual balls he dropped all over the place. Finley was supposed to be a Rob Gronkowski-like ground breaking tight end. However, he's been a disappointment of epic proportions.
Just as all self entitled athletes do when they feel the need of attention, the act out via Twitter, 140 characters of crap instead of really going to work out the issue.
“I think Randall Cobb’s taken my position from ’09. I want to line up where Cobb’s lining up because I know the ball’s coming there” he said, according to Rob Reischel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Now, there’s a model teammate, not only throwing Rodgers under the bus, but kicking your best receiver also. Finley should break out the verbal machine gun and spray the whole team at this point. If he wasn’t toxic before, he sure is now.
