Minnesota Vikings fullback Jerome Felton is apologizing for being arrested for DUI last weekend.
Felton apologized on Wednesday at an optional practice, four days after Eden Prairie police arrested him on suspicion of driving while impaired and refusing to take a chemical test.
Felton was contrite on Wednesday, saying he regretted bringing some negative attention to his new team. He was signed in the offseason to compete for the starting fullback job.
Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says he was ''extremely disappointed'' when notified of Felton's arrest. Frazier met with Felton to discuss the incident this week, and the fullback was on the field for the entire optional practice on Wednesday.
Frazier says he has been stressing the importance of being responsible in the community with the entire team.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. McDonald's has served over a billion people, but the fast-food restaurant chain might have served Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Brandon Fusco for the final time.
An admitted fast-food connoisseur, Fusco gave up eating greasy cheeseburgers this offseason. The 6-foot-4, 306-pound Fusco entered the NFL as an unfinished product, a sixth-round pick by Minnesota...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings have added another wide receiver to the mix in trying to upgrade the struggling unit.
Minnesota signed undrafted rookie A.J. Love on Tuesday, the 12th receiver on the team's 90-man roster. Love caught 74 passes for 1,092 yards and eight touchdowns in his time at the University of South Florida. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Love had two seasons...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings star receiver Percy Harvin returned to practice Tuesday for the first time since shoulder surgery in April.
Curiously he was missing during Wednesday's open practice during organized team activities, causing many to wonder if he was still having trouble with his shoulder. Coach Leslie Frazier said he didn't think the shoulder was the...

Minnesota Vikings defensive star knows a thing or two about throwing a shindig — Jared Allen held his annual Homes 4 Wounded Warriors and we were lucky enough to get a hold of some exclusive photos from the charity golf tournament last month — If you want to help out, Jared has a text to donate program associated with the foundation. -TO
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin was back on the practice field on Tuesday for the first time this offseason after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery.
Harvin indicated that he feels great, even though his shoulder is a little sore, which is expected.
If the Vikings offense is going to have a strong season in 2012, they’re going to need Harvin to stay healthy.
Hey guys, remember that Chris Johnson guy? The hold-out who ran for a total of something like 13 yards in his first five games last season? Yeah, him. Well, he's "back" and more dangerous than ever, and also touting himself as the best running back in the league. From a recent Pro Football Talk article:
“I feel I am still the best back in the league, and I...
This must be something that only happens to members of organizations in the NFC North. Over the weekend, Minnesota Vikings fullback Jerome Felton was nabbed for a DUI. But this wasn’t your run of the mill DUI that professional athletes get. Heck, he wasn’t even well over the speed limit. He wasn’t even moving. He [...]
You guys, I have terrible news. We recently did our draft recap feature thing (I wouldn't even call it that ...) on new Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, and we asked for people to come up with nicknames for him. The most popular option tossed around on the internet has EASILY been the "Blair Walsh Project," but I have terrible news for you ... We may not be as smarty pants...
Professional athletes getting busted for DUI’s has unfortunately become the latest trend, but this one definitely takes the cake. Minesota Vikings fullback Jerome Felton was arrested for second degree driving while intoxicated after police responded to reports of a drunk driver waiting in a McDonald’s drive thru in Eden Prarie, MN early Saturday morning. Here [...]
Percy Harvin did not attend Wednesday’s voluntary practice with the Vikings, but Leslie Frazier said he didn’t think it was related to the shoulder.
New Vikings receiver Jerome Simpson displayed speed, hands and leaping ability on a highlight play that had teammates cheering.
Jerome Simpson wasn’t the most reliable receiver last year, but his catch in Wednesday’s practice showed his impressive athleticism. Simpson has what the Vikings need, but his performance last year compared to Vikings receivers is an interesting and surprising dichotomy. Plus, another receiver showing well, one that is sitting out and other notes from Wednesday.
Something tells me that Link Hogthrob and his Scandanavian clan of Muppet pigs could finish a season in the NFL with at least a 4-12 record, topping the Minnesota Vikings' 3-13 mark from last year.
Despite several bright hues along the way (from Fran Tarkenton to Adrian Peterson), the Purple People Eaters of the NFC North are a figurehead upon the league's Mount Rushmore...
We have been through this with Favre. Hell I’m still not over it. Not even close. At least Wisconsin is not the only NFL state with some QB issues. We bring you some fans dealing with the loss of Peyton and Tebow. It’s tough. I know. Been there.

Wonderful, just wonderful parody here folks.
