PLAYERS: Jerry Reese
TEAMS: New York Giants
You could probably ask any fan of an NFL team and they will tell you that they would trade missing the playoffs three times in four years, just as long as that one year included a Super Bowl win. This is the case for the New York Giants, but GM Jerry Reese isn’t a fan, and he says that certainly isn’t acceptable. “I got a couple of numbers that have been bouncing around in my head,” Reese said via the NY Post. “The No. 1 number is 190 – - that’s 190 days ‘TIL the Super Bowl is played in MetLife Stadium over there. That’s really not acceptable for us. That’s below our standards. That’s not what we shoot for. “We want to put everybody on notice – - myself, everybody’s on notice that that’s not our standards.” Jerry Reese may not speak often, but when he does, it is with reckless abandon. • I'll second that Mr. Reese...but I really have a good feeling about some of the players you added to the roster. The defense was addressed because it was D that cost us last year. But you didn't forsake the offense either. I especially like the move to bring in Aaron Curry at LB and Brandon Myers at TE, both will have something to prove. Eli must be salivating at the thought of who he has to throw to and the running backs are gonna tear it up.

Cruz doesn't feel underpaid
