The unanimous answer to who is the greatest wide receiver in NFL history is Jerry Rice. Rice was never the biggest (six-foot-two), strongest or fastest (4.71 40-yard dash) wide out, but his work ethic was second to none and he had no weaknesses. He was the complete package. If you ask anyone who is the best wide receiver in today’s game, the unanimous answer should be Calvin Johnson. Currently, Johnson is chasing Rice’s single-season yardage record. Rice set the all-time mark at 1,848 yards in 1995.
