Rice has always been a gentleman with how he phrases anything.

So his response is neither or inclusive of anything akin to a ‘ yo mama’ joke.

Instead he leaned on the stone cold facts when he spoke with the league’s website.

  • What a joke, Moss was good, very good...but he can't hold Jerry's jockstrap when it comes to who the greatest WR all time was. And NOBODY is going to catch Rice's numbers in this age of specialization in the NFL.

  • All were good but none of them can touch Jerry Rice's numbers. Rice also blocked better than many fullbacks would block, he was a total team player.
