Jeremy Kerley played four seasons of college football at Texas Christian University. During his versatile career with the Horned Frogs, Kerley pieced together 1,299 receiving yards, 12 receiving TD's, 306 rushing yards, 8 rushing TD's, 1,299 punt return yards, 2 punt return TDs, 1,006 kick return yards, 135 passing yards, 1 passing TD, and 1 interception. Following his 2009 campaign, Kerley was named the Mountain West Conference Special Teams Player of the Year for his efforts in breaking the conference record of most punt return yards in a season. He won the award again in 2010. Jeremy Kerley was selected with the 153rd overall pick (5th round) in the 2011 NFL Draft, by the New York Jets. In his rookie season with the Jets, Kerley grabbed 29 receptions for 314 yards and 1 TD. In the rushing game, Kerley carried the ball 5 times for 28 yards.
