TEAMS: New York Jets
Holy **** there was some good action at Jets-Giants on Saturday at the Meadowlands. (Don’t bother us with MetLife emails, morons.) The Jets season pretty much crumbled with this loss – playoff scenarios are pretty bleak for Sexy Rexy – but at least the fans left us with one of the more memorable fan fights of 2011. You have to see Revis fan absolutely destroying Giants fan with a variety of knee and kick combos that drops Stu like a sack of potatoes. Superior fan fighting. Posted: 3 hours ago Premise of Video: (via vlogger) “New York Jets Fan Knocks Down a Giant Fan.” Um, let’s be honest about this one. It’s more than just Jets fan knocking down Giants fan. Dude gets KOed. Lights out. Bring an ambulance. Concussion syndrome. Climax of Video: Stick with this one. Lights out at the :30 mark. Conclusion: How many times do we need to preach to you fan fight video combatants. You cannot fight a guy 1-2 rows above you. Must be on same row for a legal fight. Otherwise your reach advantage is reduced to nothing and you take knees and feet to your face. Learn it, live it. Giants fan probably had a rough Christmas Day explaining to mom what happened to his face.

New York Jets: Assessing The Situation After Yesterday’s Nightmare

Third and ten from the 1 yard line. The New York Jets held a 7-3 lead and had put together an encouraging performance so far. One ten yard out route, two missed tackles, a poor angle, and 99 yards later. The game was over. If you have watched the Jets this season, you knew at that moment they didn’t have the character or the team this year to overcome that type of play. I remember...

Jets have a decision to make on Sanchez

As the New York Jets begin to process the reality that there most likely will be no back-door path to the playoffs followed by a couple of unlikely road wins in the postseason, one of the factors the franchise will confront is the future of quarterback Mark Sanchez. A league source tells PFT that the…

The Mark Sanchez Meter: Week 16

You couldn't swing a dead cat this summer without hitting someone telling you that it was imperative that Mark Sanchez showed marked improvement as a quarterback this season. Because of that we thought we'd check in weekly to see how the Sanchize is progressing toward that goal. There's still another week of the regular season, but it seems like it is about time to...

Banner day for Giants

The Jets do it every home game. The Giants don’t have to like it, and yesterday they did something about it before they even stepped foot on the field and administered a 29-14 pounding. Outside the Giants’ locker room at MetLife Stadium, adorned on the walls, are the logos...
